dir. Carlo Mazzacurati

My second project working with the late, great Italian director Carlo Mazzacurati. Sedia is a kind of modern fairy tale that included several firsts for me, including writing score for a priest on fire and driving a motorcycle off a cliff. The story follows a tattoo artist and beautician who have teamed up to find a missing fortune in stolen jewels – their quest takes them to all of Italy’s distant corners (with said priest in hot pursuit).

Previously, Carlo had tapped me to contribute to the score for his 2007 feature La Giusta Distanza (The Right Distance). I feel honored to have had the opportunity to work with him.
