 So Much Yellow 2

Set in the 1960’s, So Much Yellowis the story of a road trip that changed a family’s life forever. Inspired by true stories, this film depicts the difficult decision one family makes to institutionalize their young son who has Down syndrome. In making this film, we wanted to share an honest and intimate account of what it would feel like for a family to make this kind of choice. Though the idea of institutionalization is particular to an era, millions of people navigate the complexities of caring for their children with disabilities, struggles wrought with passion, love, and joy. These stories deserve to be heard. Written and directed by Erica Milsom.
